Villa Montana stands high inside La Zagaleta, the private estate in the hills behind Marbella. The plot rises at the back and falls away at the front, which gives the main terrace a clear line of sight down to the Mediterranean and, on a good day, across to Gibraltar and the Moroccan coast.

The house is built around a double-height hall. Reception rooms sit to either side and open onto a covered terrace that steps down to the infinity pool. The kitchen is a proper working room with a separate breakfast area.
