A small desk, on purpose.
LuX started with a simple frustration: the best houses were being sold by people who had never set foot in them. We do it the other way round.
We are a team of six, working out of Marbella, London and Dubai. Between us we have bought, sold and lived in houses across the Mediterranean for the better part of twenty years, which is mostly a way of saying we have made the mistakes already.
We keep the collection deliberately short. Taking on a villa means visiting it, understanding why the owner is selling, and being honest with buyers about the road noise, the winter light and the cost of running the pool. If a house does not stand up to that, we do not list it.
We are paid by the seller, on completion. That keeps our advice to buyers straightforward: we would rather you bought the right house next year than the wrong one this week.
