A contemporary house on the south-west coast with direct sea views and a deck that reaches over the water.

Casa del Mar is a low, white house that steps down the cliff at Es Cubells, on the quieter south-west coast of the island. The living space is on one level and every principal room looks straight out to sea.

The terrace is the point of the house. It runs out towards the water on a timber deck, with the infinity pool set into it so the surface reads as a continuation of the sea beyond. Sunset here is due west.

Six bedrooms are arranged so guests keep their own privacy. The kitchen is built for entertaining, and there is a separate laundry and utility run behind it that keeps the service side of the house out of sight.
